WHAT IS MINIPRENEURS SHARK TANK?
Minipreneurs Shark Tank is a pitching competition designed to inspire the entrepreneurial mindset in kids aged 8-13 years. The program has been developed by Reali Learning, an Australian Company based out of ACT that offers education programs that offers afterschool, online and project-based learning to empower kids with the skills they need to solve real world problems using instructors and gamified learning.
WHO CAN ENTER MINIPRENEURS SHARK TANK?
Any Student aged 8-13 years enrolled in an Australian School or Homeschool Program can enter Minipreneurs Shark Tank. Entrants can be nominated by the Parents or Guardians or by their School for the competition. In both cases, the Parents or Guardians must sign a Media Permission Form for their child before their entry can be uploaded to the Reali Learning Website. Minipreneurs Shark Tank is an annual pitching competition and incubation program for kids to launch their business ideas.

That’s right! No cost to Schools or Parents/Guardians for Students to enter the competition and upload their 3-minute pitch.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
We know how busy today’s Parents and Families are. That’s why we have chosen to hold the Minipreneurs Shark Tank COMPLETELY ONLINE from start to finish, in a Safe, Convenient and Nurturing Online Learning Environment.
ON-DEMAND COURSE
Reali Learning will provide THREE ON-DEMAND WORKSHOPS to teach nominated entrants “How to PLAN” “How to PREPARE” and “How to PITCH” before they upload their 3-minute pitch. The On-Demand Links and Teaching Aids will be made available to Schools and Interested Parents/Guardians FREE OF CHARGE. The course is aligned to ACARA and the Australian Curriculum and can be easily adapted for Grade 4 thru to Grade 7 Students and Classes.
OUR SEMI-FINALS
Once the nominated entrant has uploaded their 3-minute pitch, Reali Learning Adjudicators will select 12 of the recorded pitches to showcase in the next Semi-Final. The pre-recorded 3-minute pitch of the 12 successful Semi-Finalists will be played on a LIVE EVENT broadcast across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok Channels, and on www.realilearning.com. A Live panel of judges drawn from our Pool of Sponsors will ask each semi-finalist questions about their business live immediately after their recorded pitch is aired. Question time for each semi-finalist will be approximately 5-7 minutes.

• 7pm – 8:30pm AEDT Monday March 27, 2023
• 7pm – 8:30pm AEDT Monday May 19, 2023
Our Judging Panel will select THREE FINALISTS from each Semi-Final to PITCH LIVE in the LIVE NATIONAL GRAND FINAL. The 2023 National Grand Final will be broadcast LIVE across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok Channels, and on www.realilearning.com. A Live panel of judges drawn from our Pool of Sponsors will then ask each finalists questions about their business live immediately after their live pitch is aired. Question time for each finalist will be approximately 5-7 minutes.

INDIVIDUAL STUDENT PRIZES
Our Judging Panel will select ONE NATIONAL WINNER as our Minipreneur of the Year, who will receive the Prize Money, 12 Months Access to Reali Learning Valued at $1500, and 12 Months Mentoring and Marketing Advice to get their business idea up and running Valued at $1500. Total Prize Pool is up to $5000, depending on if they are a Standard or a Premium Entry.
SCHOOL PRIZES
If our National Winner is a SCHOOL ENTRY, their School will ALSO receive Prizes too! Prizes include $2000 Prize Money, 2 x Minipreneurs Club School Incursions, and 1 Year of Strategic Marketing Advice for their School.

WHAT SUPPORT WILL ENTRANTS RECEIVE TO HELP THEM PREPARE THEIR PITCH?
- Entrants will be given access to On-Demand “How to Plan”, “How to Prepare”, and “How to Pitch” workshops hosted by Reali Learning, where they will learn the basics of business planning, pitching and presenting, how to record their pitch, and how to answer the judges’ questions.
- Reali Learning has also created three worksheets that align to our On-Demand Workshops, to help your child to plan and cost their business ideas and script for their pitch.

PLEASE NOTE: Schools may enter any number of Students in Minipreneurs Shark Tank. However, ONLY Schools who enter 10 or more students in the Minipreneurs Shark Tank will qualify to receive these prizes should one of their entrants be named 2023 Minipreneur of the Year.

STUDENT QUALIFYING AGE
Students who enter the Minireneurs Shark Tank 2023 must be enrolled in an Australian School and between the ages 8-13 by the date of our National Grand Final on 19 June 2023.
TO ENTER
To enter the competition each student must record a 3-minute pitch of their amazing business idea. Pitches may be uploaded to our website between 1st September 2022 and 16 May 2023. The last day to upload your students’ recorded pitches is 16 May, 2023. Pitches recieved after this date will be held over until the Minipreneurs Shark Tank 2024 is launched 1st September 2023.
CHILD SAFETY AND PRIVACY CONCERNS
1. Reali Learning require the signed Media Permission Form from a Parent or Guardian of all students participating in the Minipreneurs Shark Tank 2023 pitching competition. Student entries not accompanied by this signed form cannot be presented in our online Semi-Finals or National Grand Final. The Media Permission Form will be provided to nominated schools as part of their School Info Pack.
2. Every member of the Reali Learning Team have a Current Working with Vulnerable People Card. This does not include Sponsors or Partners involved in our online events. However, as all of our events are held online and live, the risk to children is minimal. And at no time will our Sponsors and Partners involved in the event be given the private details of paraticipating students.
3. The Media Permission Form will give Reali Learning parental and guardian permission to speak with their child on live broadcast events, share their child’s image on social media, broadcast their child’s recorded and live pitch on social media, and do interviews with the child (accompanied by an adult) on social media leading up to the online events. This form will also give Reali Learning permission to share information, updates, reminders and news with parents and guardians via email, sms, and phone call as required. Parents and Guardians will be allowed to opt out at any time.
FREE ON-DEMAND SCHOOL TRAINING AIDS
Reali Learning with the assistance of our sponsor Dynamo Selling, have created an On-Demand Course to help your Teachers prepare classes to enter the Minipreneurs Shark Tank 2023. Shark Tank entry is set for individual entry only.
We have prepared three 45min On-Demand Workshops, each with a complete workbook to help students plan, prepare and record their pitch. Reali Learning is providing these teaching aids to nominated schools FREE OF CHARGE to ensure every Australian Student has the opportunity to participate and learn from this experience. This Course has been written by our award winning teachers and aligns with ACARA and the Australian Curriculum. the Course can also be easily adapted for younger students.

COMPETITION RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
The Minipreneurs Shark Tank pitching competition is open to all Australian-based Students who are between the ages of 8-13 years by the National Grand Final date — 19 June, 2023.
All entries are to be submitted digitally, and the entire competition will occur online throughout all stages.
Registered entrants need to submit their recorded 3-minute pitch entry to the Realilearning.com website no later Friday 16 May, 2023. Each uploaded entry must be accompanied by a signed Media Permission Form for the Semi-Final and Grand Final live broadcasts.
Entries can be nominated and uploaded to the website 24/7 between 1 September 2022 and 16 May, 2023. There are three scheduled Semi-Finals and one scheduled National Grand Final. Each Semi-Final date is the culmination of a Shark Tank Round. Entries will be added to the relevant Shark Tank Round according to their Upload Date.
The Adjudicators will choose only 12 recorded pitches from the combined pool of Individual Students and School entries for each of the three Semi Finals according to the dates below.
• Semi-Final 1 — 7-8:30pm AEDT, 12 December, 2022 — Round 1 (uploads 1st September 2022 – 9 December, 2022) — total 12
• Semi-Final 2 — 7-8:30pm AEDT, 27 March, 2023 — Round 2 (uploads 10 December, 2022 – 24 March, 2023) — total 12
• Semi Final 3 — 7-8:30pm AEDT, 19 May, 2023 — Round 3 (uploads 25 March, 2023 – 16 May, 2023) — total 12
Reali Learning will notify successful Families and Schools by email if their entry has been selected by the Adjudicators for the next relevant Semi Final Date.
Our judging panel will be given 5-7 minutes of live question time with the relevant Semi-Finalist after each pitch is aired. The judges will select the three best pitches from each Semi-Final to progress to the National Grand Final on 19 June, 2023.
The National Grand Final will be broadcast online and live across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok Channels, and on www.realilearning.com.
• National Grand Final — 7pm AEDT, 19 June, 2023 — 3 Live Pitches from each Semi-Final. Total 9 finalists.
The judges decision is final, and no communication from entrants, their families, or their schools will be entered into by Reali Learning staff, our Sponsors or members of the judging panel.
Students enrolled in Australian Schools of Homeschool Programs, including Reali Learning Online Program students based in Australia, are allowed to enter the Australian 2023 Minipreneurs Shark Tank.
Reali Learning Pty Ltd declares that all students no matter of race, religion, creed or ability are allowed to enter Minipreneurs Shark Tank, as long as they are enrolled in an Australian School or Homeschool Program.
